NUVO Lighting 62-1672 – Frequently Asked Questions

    1) How many fixtures come in the NUVO 62-1672 contractor pack?
The 62-1672 ships as a 6 unit contractor pack of the 10 inch LED disk light in brushed nickel, so one order covers six ceiling locations. Useful if you're re-lamping a corridor, a block of units, or a hallway run and want every fixture to match.
    2) Can I put this NUVO disk light in a bathroom or a covered porch?
It carries a wet location rating, so it will handle a shower ceiling, a laundry, or a covered exterior soffit where it sees splash and humidity. NUVO still catalogs it as an indoor fixture, so the intent is wet-rated indoor spaces rather than full exposure.
    3) What size hole or ceiling area does the 10 inch NUVO disk light cover?
The fixture measures 9.5 inches in diameter and sits 1.25 inches off the ceiling. It is a surface-mounted close-to-ceiling disk, not a recessed can, so it covers an existing junction box and works where there's no plenum depth for a housing.
    4) Will this NUVO LED disk light work on my existing dimmer?
The 62-1672 is dimmable and runs on 120V line voltage with an integrated LED driver. Because it's an integrated LED rather than a lamp, it needs an LED-compatible dimmer, not an old incandescent rheostat, to dim smoothly down low.
    5) How much light does the NUVO 62-1672 put out and what color is it?
1130 lumens from 16 watts at 3000K, a warm white. CRI is 90, so skin tones, paint colors and finishes read accurately, which matters in bathrooms, kitchens and hospitality corridors. The color temperature is fixed, not field selectable, so every unit in the pack lands at the same 3000K.
    6) Do I need to order bulbs for these disk lights?
No separate lamps. The LEDs are integrated into the fixture and rated at 50,000 average hours, so there's nothing to stock or replace at the socket. Plan on replacing the fixture, not a bulb, at end of life.
    7) What is the NUVO 62-1672 disk light actually made of, and how heavy is each unit?
Steel base with a frosted shade that diffuses the LED output, finished in brushed nickel. Each fixture weighs 1.3 lbs, light enough to mount to a standard ceiling box without extra bracing.
    8) Is there a Prop 65 warning on these NUVO disk lights?
Yes. The 62-1672 carries a California Proposition 65 notice for lead. If you're shipping to or installing in California, that disclosure needs to travel with the product.
