It accepts anything from 100V to 277V on the same fixture, so the same part number works on 120V residential or light commercial branch circuits and on 277V in a commercial or industrial panel. That is useful for MRO standardization, you stock one strip for mixed-voltage buildings rather than separate 120V and 277V versions.

No outdoor use. The 65-1101 is rated indoor only, with a damp location rating. Damp means it tolerates humidity and condensation, so an enclosed stairwell, basement, laundry, or covered interior corridor is fine. Open exterior areas, anywhere exposed to direct rain or hose-down, need a wet location rated fixture.

For a warehouse aisle or shop where you want high foot-candles from one fixture, step up to a higher-lumen strip or high bay.

The 65-1101 is a 90 CRI fixture, which is high for a utility strip and renders color accurately enough for retail backrooms, inspection benches, and laundry or sorting areas where you need to judge color. Note it is not CCT selectable, so the color temperature is fixed. If you're matching an existing row of fixtures, order one and compare before you do the whole building.

The fixture is specified for ceiling mounting, so surface mounting to the deck, a joist, or a box is what it is built for. Chain or aircraft-cable suspension kits are sold separately from the fixture and are not part of this part number, so if you want a pendant-hung row you need to source hanging hardware in addition to the strip.

The body is steel with a white finish, which holds up better than plastic to knocks from carts and ladders in back-of-house areas. Paired with the damp location rating, it suits basements, utility rooms, and laundry areas in apartment buildings. It is RoHS compliant, and NUVO flags lead under California Prop 65, which matters if you're documenting materials for an institutional or government spec.
