If your pole has a square bolt-on drill pattern or a different tenon diameter, the included slip-fitter will not serve and you will need a different mounting arrangement.

The 65-844-5 delivers 26,051 lumens at 200 watts. That output range is typically used to replace 400W to 750W metal halide or high pressure sodium area fixtures, with the LED drawing a fraction of the load. Color is 4000K neutral white at 80 CRI, which reads closer to the white light people expect in a parking lot than the yellow cast of HPS.

It is a wet location rated outdoor fixture, cULus certified, and RoHS compliant, so it is acceptable on a commercial pole or wall-pack-height mount with direct rain exposure. Housing is die-cast aluminum. Note the fixture carries a California Prop 65 notice for lead.

Type V throws light in a symmetric circular pattern all the way around the fixture, so it is used where the pole sits in the middle of what you are lighting: center-of-lot parking, courtyards, open yards, intersections of drive aisles. A Type III pattern is forward-throw and asymmetric, which is what you want on a perimeter pole where you do not want light spilling onto a neighboring property or back over a wall. Dimmable, yes. Color temperature, no. The 65-844-5 is a fixed 4000K fixture and is not CCT selectable, so if your site standard is 3000K or 5000K you need a different model rather than a field setting. The dimming capability lets it run on a control system or be trimmed back for light-trespass or energy-code reasons.

The LEDs are integrated, so there is no lamp or socket to relamp. The 65-844-5 is rated at 50,000 average hours, and at end of life the fixture (or its driver, if that is what failed) is what gets serviced, not a bulb. For MRO planning that means no lamp stocking, but it does mean a bucket truck trip replaces a fixture rather than a lamp.

Bronze is the only finish on the 65-844-5, which is the common match for dark bronze poles and arms already on most commercial lots. If your site standard is black or white, this part number will not match it.
