NUVO Lighting TH407 1-Light, LED, 12W Track Head, Round, Brushed Nickel, 36 degree Beam

No. The TH407 is rated for dry locations only and is an indoor fixture. Keep it out of covered exterior areas, bathrooms with shower steam, coolers, and anywhere subject to condensation. For those spots you need a damp- or wet-rated head instead.

It's dimmable, and there is no bulb to replace. The LED is integrated into the head, rated at 30,000 average hours, so when the diode reaches end of life you change the whole head rather than relamping. Because it's an integrated 120V LED, pair it with an LED-compatible dimmer rather than an older incandescent-only control.

1020 lumens from 12 watts at 120V, with a 90 CRI output. The 90 CRI matters if you're lighting retail merchandise, artwork, or finished millwork where color needs to read true. Spacing-wise, the 36 degree beam is a medium flood, so it spreads wider than a spot but still keeps a defined pool on the target.

A 36 degree beam, which is what the TH407 puts out, is a medium flood. Use it to wash a run of shelving, artwork groupings, or a countertop where you want overlapping pools and no hard edge. If you're putting a single object in a tight highlight, a narrower beam angle head is the better choice. For general room illumination rather than accent, recessed or surface downlights cover the area with far fewer fixtures.

Extension is 6.25 inches, with the head itself measuring 2.25 inches long by 3.25 inches wide by 3.25 inches high. That extension is what you use to check clearance under a low ceiling, over a stair, or where cabinet doors swing near the run. It's a ceiling-mounted head at 0.66 lbs, so the load on the track is minimal even across a long run of heads.

It carries a cETLus safety listing, which covers both US and Canadian requirements, and the fixture is RoHS compliant. Note that it's listed for dry indoor locations only, so for an institutional spec confirm the room it's going in isn't classified damp.

No. The TH407 is not CCT selectable, so there is no field switch for color temperature. If you're adding heads to an existing run and need the light to match, order the same model throughout rather than mixing in a selectable head that may not land on the same white point.

Brushed nickel is the only finish offered on the TH407, and the body is die-cast aluminum rather than stamped steel or plastic, which holds up to repeated re-aiming and handling in retail and hospitality installs. The round head shape reads contemporary, so it sits well alongside other brushed nickel trim on a property.

Yes, lead is the listed Prop 65 chemical for the TH407. California jobs need the warning passed through on the submittal and packaging; it does not affect how the head installs or performs.

The manufacturer publishes both a full spec sheet and installation instructions as PDFs for the TH407, linked in the product's technical data. An electrician installing to a plan check will want the spec sheet for the photometric and listing data before rough-in.
