    1) Will the NUVO TH412 track head fit my existing track, or do I need a specific brand of track?
    The TH412 uses a pinch-back connector, which is the NUVO/Satco style track connector, so it mounts to compatible single-circuit 120V track. It is a 120V line-voltage head drawing 12W, ceiling mounted. If your track is a different manufacturer's profile or a low-voltage or multi-circuit system, the pinch-back head will not seat correctly.
    2) Can the lamp be replaced in the TH412, or is the whole head throwaway when the LED fails?
    The LED is integrated, so there is no replaceable lamp and no socket. When the module reaches end of life the head is replaced. It is rated at 30,000 average hours, which at 12 hours a day of retail operation is roughly 6 to 7 years before replacement.
    3) Is this track head rated for a covered exterior porch or a wet area?
    Indoor, dry location only. The TH412 carries a Dry location rating, so it cannot go in a damp or wet spot: no covered porches, bathroom shower zones, canopies, or walk-in coolers. Pick a damp or wet listed fixture for those.
    4) Can I dim these LED track heads on my existing wall dimmer?
    The TH412 is dimmable on 120V line voltage. Because the LED and driver are integrated, it needs an LED-compatible (ELV or forward-phase LED) dimmer rather than an old incandescent-only unit, and the total connected wattage on the circuit will be low with 12W heads, so check your dimmer's minimum load.

    7) Is the color quality good enough for retail merchandise or gallery lighting?
    CRI is 90, which is the threshold most retail and gallery specs call for when fabric, paint, or skin tone has to read true. The color temperature is fixed, not field selectable, so every head on the run will match as long as you order the same model.
