    1) Will the NUVO TH441 track head work on my existing track, and what voltage does it need?
    The TH441 is a 120V line-voltage track head, so it needs a standard 120V track circuit, not a low-voltage system. It mounts to the ceiling-run track and is for dry, indoor locations only, so skip it for covered exterior soffits or damp bathrooms. Note that the color temperature is fixed, not field selectable.
    2) How far does the TH441 track head hang down below the track?
    Extension is 6.25 inches below the track. The head body itself measures 3.38 x 2.38 x 2.38 inches and weighs 0.77 lbs. On a low ceiling or anywhere near a doorway, open shelving, or a tall display, that 6.25 inch drop is the number to check for head clearance.
    3) Can I dim the TH441 track head, and do I need a special dimmer?
    It's a dimmable integrated LED fixture running on 120V. Because the LED driver is built in, you need a dimmer rated for LED loads on a 120V line-voltage circuit; a plain incandescent-only dimmer can buzz or drop out at the low end. Add up the wattage of every head on the circuit (12W each) when sizing the dimmer.
    4) Do I need to order lamps with the NUVO TH441 track head?

If you're trying to light a general sales floor, a corridor, or wash a full wall evenly, a wider flood beam head is the better choice, and a 24 degree will leave scalloped bright spots instead. Many installs mix the two on the same run.

    Yes, lead is the listed California Proposition 65 chemical for the TH441. For California jobs that matters to procurement documentation; it does not affect the electrical rating or the install.
