The TH442 is an integrated LED head, so there is no socket and no bulb to buy. The LED is built in at 12W drawing 120V, producing 1020 lumens, and it is rated for 30,000 hours average life. When the LED reaches end of life the head is replaced, not relamped.

No. The TH442 is a dry location rated, indoor only fixture. Keep it out of covered exterior soffits, patios, unconditioned garages, and shower or tub zones where damp or wet rating is required. For those areas you need a head carrying a damp or wet location listing.

The TH442 is a dimmable 120V line voltage LED head, so it is intended to run on a dimmed circuit. Because it is an integrated LED rather than an incandescent lamp, pair it with a dimmer rated for LED loads; older incandescent-only dimmers with a high minimum load often flicker or fail to dim smoothly with a 12W fixture.

It is a ceiling mounted track head that attaches to a powered track section, so power comes from the track run rather than from a box at the head itself. You need existing or new 120V track plus a feed connection; the head alone will not install on a bare ceiling. At 0.77 lbs it adds very little load to the track.

Extension is 5.19 inches, measured from the track, and the head body is 2.38 inches wide, high, and in diameter. Add your track channel depth to the 5.19 inches to get total drop. That matters in retail fit-outs and low-ceiling corridors where heads sit in the path of stock carts or door swings.

A 24 degree beam is a narrow flood, which is the usual choice for picking out artwork, signage, and merchandise displays rather than washing a whole room. With 1020 lumens behind it and a CRI of 90, colors and finishes read accurately, which is what galleries, showrooms, and hospitality spaces are usually after. For general ambient coverage you would want a wider beam head.

Fixed. The TH442 is not CCT selectable, so there is no field switch to change color temperature. If you are adding heads to an existing run, order all heads at the same color temperature or the row will not match visually.

It is cETLus listed, which covers both US and Canadian requirements, and it is RoHS compliant. That is typically what an inspector or a facility spec is looking for on a 120V indoor track head. Note the California Prop 65 disclosure for lead.
