1) Can I use the Oatey 34081 aluminum pan under a gas water heater, or is it electric only?
Either one. The 34081 is recommended for gas or electric water heaters. Because it is formed from .032 prime aluminum rather than plastic, it holds up next to a gas unit's burner area where a thin poly pan is a concern.
2) What size drain line does the Oatey 34081 water heater pan connect to?
