A long pattern flange has an extended hub so it still reaches the pipe when the stub-up was cut short. That is the whole reason to buy the 43534 over a standard closet flange: on a remodel where somebody trimmed the riser below the finished floor, or where a new pour raised the floor on you, the standard flange won't get enough glue surface and the long body will.

No. The 43534 is ABS, and ABS solvent cement bonds to ABS pipe. If the drain stub coming out of your floor is white PVC, you need the PVC version of the flange instead, or a transition fitting. Gluing ABS to PVC with the wrong cement is a joint that fails under a toilet, which is the worst place for it.

No test cap on the 43534. If you are rough-in stage and need to pressure or water test the DWV system before the toilet goes on, order a flange with a knockout test cap or plan on a separate test plug. For a straight replacement on an existing finished floor, no cap is the version you want anyway.

Metal ring on an ABS body. The metal ring is the part the closet bolts pull against, and it holds up better than an all-plastic ring when a toilet gets rocked or reset a few times, which is why it is the usual spec for rental and multi-family work where the same fixture gets pulled repeatedly.

Yes. The 43534 is the flange only. You still need ABS solvent cement for the joint, closet bolts, a wax ring or waxless seal, and fasteners to anchor the flange to the floor. Nothing in that list ships with the flange, so pick them up on the same order rather than making a second trip.
