1) Will the Oatey 33746 Baby J-Hook hold 3/4 inch PEX and CPVC, or is it copper only?
It takes 3/4 inch CTS pipe in copper, CPVC, or PEX. CTS is copper tube size, so the 3/4 inch nominal hook matches 3/4 inch copper, and CPVC and PEX in the same CTS sizing drop right in. The hook is open on top, so the line sits in it and can still move as it heats and cools instead of being clamped tight.
