Pamex DD0633WC Heavy Duty Fixed Shelf and Rod Support Bracket White Finish

No. The DD0633WC is a combined shelf and rod support bracket, so the same piece carries the shelf board above and cradles the hang rod below it. One bracket per support point covers both jobs, which is why it is the standard part for a reach-in closet where the rod runs under a single fixed shelf. What it does not include is the rod itself or the shelf board, so order those to your opening width.

A fixed bracket like the DD0633WC sets the shelf and rod height permanently at whatever line you mount it to, and it fastens straight to the wall framing with no track. That is what you want for a rental turn, a closet that gets rebuilt to the same layout every time, or anywhere a tenant should not be moving the shelf. Adjustable standard and bracket systems buy you height changes later, at the cost of a visible slotted upright on the back wall and a shelf that can be knocked out of its slots. For single-rod reach-in closets that all get built the same way, fixed is the simpler install and there is less to go wrong.

Pamex classifies the DD0633WC as a residential product. It is built for apartment, condo, and single-family closets, the kind of reach-in with one shelf and one hang rod, and that is the duty it is sized for. For a back-of-house storage room, a janitor closet, or a locker room where the shelf takes real abuse and gets loaded with equipment, buy a commercial-duty support instead.

The bracket body measures 15/16 x 10-1/4 inches, with a 12-1/2 inch projection off the wall. That gives you a narrow footprint against the back wall, so in a tight reach-in you can set a bracket close to a side wall without the body fighting the corner. The number that governs the layout is the 12-1/2 inch projection: the closet has to be at least that deep, plus door clearance, before the shelf line works.

It matches if the existing brackets are the same Pamex model in white, since the DD0633WC is a single fixed configuration with no size or finish variations to get wrong. Before you order the one-off, measure the projection on a bracket that is still up. If the existing supports run shorter or longer than 12-1/2 inches, the replacement will not put the shelf front on the same line as the rest of the run and the board will sit crooked.
