1) Does the PDQ 106 wall stop mount with screws or does it stick on?
The PDQ 106 is the adhesive backed bumper style wall stop, so it sticks to the wall surface rather than fastening through it. That makes it the one to reach for when you can't drill, for instance on tile, a finished corridor wall, or where there's no blocking behind the drywall. If you need a mechanically fastened stop, PDQ's convex and concave wall stops are the screw-mounted styles in the same family.
2) Will an adhesive wall bumper hold up on a heavy traffic door, or do I need a different stop?
The 106 is a bumper. It protects the wall from the door face and cushions contact. It is not a hold open and it is not a heavy duty stop.
