PDQ High Security Cylinders, Cores and Cams

PDQ High Security cylinders and cores add mechanical barriers that a standard pin tumbler core does not have, resisting drilling, picking and casual key copying. The family covers key in knob/lever cylinders, mortise/rim combo and mortise cylinders, small format (SFIC) and large format Schlage compatible (LFIC) interchangeable cores, and high security cams for the mortise cylinders.

Two levels are offered. Standard High Security cylinders use two hardened anti-drill pins and a proprietary PDQ keyway with a sidebar. High Security cylinders and cores use a minimum of 11 anti-drill and stainless steel pins.
