Pro-Lok PRL-BP-CASE – Frequently Asked Questions
1) Does the Pro-Lok Blue Punch carrying case come with the Blue Punch machine?
No machine is included. The Pro-Lok Blue Punch molded plastic carrying case is the case only, sold separately from the punch machine itself. If you don't already own a Blue Punch key machine, you'll need to order that as a separate line item.
2) Will the Pro-Lok Blue Punch case hold my code bar as well as the machine?
It will. The case is molded with a customized area that supports the Blue Punch machine and a separate dedicated area for the code bar, so the bar travels with the machine instead of loose in a tool bag. That matters on service calls where the code bar is what makes the machine usable at the door.
3) Will the Pro-Lok Blue Punch case fit a different brand of key punch machine?
It's cut for the Blue Punch. The interior is molded specifically to cradle the Pro-Lok Blue Punch machine and its code bar, so a punch machine from another maker won't seat correctly in the recesses. Match the case to a Blue Punch, and look for the manufacturer's own case if you run a different machine.
4) Is the Pro-Lok Blue Punch carrying case meant for mobile locksmith work or just bench storage?
It's built for transport. The case has a sturdy handle for carrying, and it's a commercial-duty locksmith tool accessory rather than a shelf box, so it suits a mobile locksmith or security integrator moving a Blue Punch machine between job sites. It works as bench storage too, but the fitted interior and handle are there for the road.
5) Which Pro-Lok case do I order for a Blue Punch machine, and is there more than one version?
There's one version: model PRL-BP-CASE. No size, color, or configuration choices to pick, so ordering is a single part number for anyone carrying a Pro-Lok Blue Punch machine.
