Primus – same key sections as obverse except a ìPî has been added To Keyway # (ie: CP, CEP, EP, Etc.)
Schlage Everest C key sections (I.E.C123, C124, C126, C135, C145… etc) (Including I/C)
Everest 29 S key sections (S 3 + digits)

1) Will the Pro-Lok BP201SC Blue Punch cut Schlage Everest and Primus keys, or only Schlage Classic?
The BP201SC handles more than Classic. It cuts Schlage Classic obverse key sections C, CE, E, EF, F, FG, G, H, J, K and L (aftermarket L blanks only), including I/C; Primus using those same sections with a P added to the keyway number (CP, CEP, EP and so on); Schlage Everest C sections such as C123, C124, C126, C135 and C145, again including I/C; Everest 29 S sections (S plus three digits); and Everest Primus under the same Primus naming. What it will not cut: numbered key sections, quad key sections, reverse key sections, Everest B (B plus three digits) and Everest D (D plus three digits). If your work is mostly B or D Everest, this is the wrong punch.
2) I run Best and Falcon SFIC, not Schlage. Is there a Blue Punch for that?
Yes, but it is a different machine. The Blue Punch is keyway-dedicated, so the SC version is set up for Schlage only. Pro-Lok's BP201IC is the Best, Falcon and Arrow small format interchangeable core cutter, and the BP201KW is the Kwikset cutter. Pick the model that matches the keyways you actually cut, because one machine does not cover all three.
3) Do I have to set spacing and depth on the Pro-Lok Blue Punch before cutting?
No setup on your end. The Blue Punch is set up at the factory for automatic spacing and depth, so the machine holds the Schlage depth-and-space chart itself. That is the reason a shop hand can run it without being trained to read a code chart.
4) Should a locksmith buy a key punch or a code machine for cutting Schlage keys to code?
A punch and a code machine solve the same problem at different speeds. The Blue Punch is a dedicated punch, one keyway family per machine, and it produces factory original keys at the speed of a duplicator rather than at code-machine pace. Because it is dedicated, it trades range for throughput: if you cut Schlage all day it wins, and if you cut every brand that walks in the door you need a machine that changes keyways. That is also why Pro-Lok sells separate Schlage, Kwikset and SFIC versions.
5) Can the Blue Punch cut Schlage interchangeable core keys?
Yes. I/C is covered on both the Classic obverse sections and the Everest C sections. Note that this is Schlage's own large format I/C, not the Best/Falcon/Arrow small format core, which needs the BP201IC machine instead.
6) Will the BP201SC cut Schlage keys that are stamped with a number instead of a letter section?
No. Numbered key sections are excluded, along with quad sections and reverse sections. The machine is built around the obverse letter sections only, so a numbered or reverse blank will not be cut correctly on it and there is no accessory that adds them.
7) Is the Pro-Lok BP201SC a shop machine or something for a maintenance department?
It is commercial-duty locksmith equipment, not a consumer duplicator. Facilities and property maintenance groups that key their own Schlage cylinders can absolutely run one, since spacing and depth are factory set, but the payoff is having a Schlage keyway program worth cutting originals for. If your building stock is mixed brand, one dedicated punch only covers the Schlage share.
