1) What lengths and wattages does the RAB SR strip light come in?
Four bodies cover three lengths. The SR2 is 2 ft with field-selectable wattage at 19, 15, 11, 7 or 4W. At 4 ft there are two: the SR4 at 40/35/30/25/20W and the lower-output SR4L at 28/24/20/16/12W. At 8 ft the SR8 runs 60/52/44/36/28W and the SR8H 85/75/65/55/45W. So a 4 ft opening and an 8 ft opening each give you a standard and an alternate output tier, which is how you tune footcandles without changing fixture families across a building.
2) Do I have to order a separate color temperature for the RAB SR strip light, or is it selectable?
One part number covers the range. The SR strip light is multi-CCT from 3500K to 6500K, set at the fixture, so you stock a single SKU and match 3500K in an office corridor, 4000K or 5000K in a shop, 6500K in a warehouse aisle. For a property manager or MRO buyer standardizing across a facility, that plus selectable wattage means one shelf item instead of a grid of them.
3) Which RAB SR model do I order for emergency egress lighting?

4) Can I get the RAB SR strip light with both battery backup and an occupancy sensor?
No. The Options axis takes one selection: No Option, Battery Back Up, Microwave Occupancy Sensor, or Passive Infrared Sensor. There is no combined /E/PIR or /E/MVS build. If a space needs both egress backup and occupancy control, spec the /E fixture and handle the occupancy switching with a separate wall or ceiling sensor on the circuit.
5) Should I get the PIR or the microwave sensor version of the RAB SR strip light?
Both are factory options on every length. /PIR is passive infrared, which needs line of sight to a warm body and works well over an open floor or a defined work area. /MVS is microwave, which detects motion through the fixture lens and thin obstructions, so it suits aisles, stairwells and stock rooms where racking or partial obstructions break up sight lines. Order them as SR2/PIR or SR2/MVS, SR4/PIR or SR4/MVS, and the same on SR4L, SR8 and SR8H. If you want the fixture always on and controlled by a wall or panel-level system instead, take the No Option version.
6) Does the RAB SR strip light qualify for a utility rebate?
It is DLC listed to version 5.1, which is the qualification most utility rebate programs check against. For an institutional or government buyer, that is the line the energy program wants to see on the submittal.
7) How do I wire the RAB SR strip light if there is no existing fixture channel to mount to?
