Metallics MRST3816 – Frequently Asked Questions

1) What thread size does the Metallics MRST3816 rapid set adapter take?
The MRST3816 is the 3/8-16 version, so it works with 3/8-16 threaded rod and 3/8-16 threaded hardware. If your hanger rod is 1/4-20 or 1/2-13, this is not the right adapter size.
2) Is the Metallics rapid set adapter ordered by part number MRST3816?
Yes. Metallics catalogs the 3/8-16 rapid set adapter under manufacturer part number MRST3816, and that is the number to quote on a purchase order or a submittal so the 3/8-16 thread size comes through correctly.
3) How does the Metallics MRST3816 adapter come packaged for a job site?
It ships in a pouch pack, which is how the small electrical fasteners in this family are packed, so it stays contained in a gang box or on a hanger cart rather than loose in a bin.
