The Rittal JB Series hinged-cover junction box combines the design advantages of Rittal's AE and KL series enclosures in a cost-effective package for dense wiring and sensitive small instruments. Available in seven sizes ranging from 6 × 6 × 4 in up to 16 × 14 × 8 in, every enclosure in the family shares 1.5 mm material thickness across the enclosure, mounting plate, and door, an IP66 rating to both EN 60 529 and IEC 60 529, and a NEMA 4X protection category for demanding indoor and outdoor environments. A 180° hinge and slotted insert quarter-turn latch allow fast, tool-free access, while the foamed-in-place gasket and knife-edge perimeter seal out dust and moisture.
