1) Will a Sargent XC 11-6300 core fit my existing Sargent exit devices and mortise locks?
The XC 11-6300 is a large format interchangeable core, and Sargent states it integrates with most existing Sargent systems including exit devices, mortise locks, bored locks, and padlocks. That is the point of the LFIC format: one core pulls with a control key and drops into any Sargent housing prepped for it, so you can standardize a whole building on one core type. It does not fit small format (SFIC) housings, and it is not a drop-in for another manufacturer's LFIC prep.
2) Which Sargent keyways can I get the 11-6300 XC core in?
The XC 11-6300 comes in the L keyway family only on the standard build: LA, LB, LC, LE, LF, LG, LJ, LK and LL. LA is the standard. Sargent's XC program is offered in L and R keyway families, but if your building's key records are on a keyway outside that L list, the core has to be ordered to match your system rather than picked off the shelf.
