1) Will a Sargent 11-C8-1 XC cylinder work in my existing Sargent keyway, or do I have to rekey the whole building?
The XC cylinders integrate into most existing Sargent systems, so you do not have to replace an entire system to add them. 2) What kind of lock does the 11-C8-1 cylinder go into?
It is a bored lock cylinder, the round key plug assembly that threads into a cylindrical (bored) lockset, not a mortise cylinder and not a complete lock.
