Yes. The S11653 is a Type B ballast bypass lamp, which means it runs on line voltage direct to the sockets and the existing fluorescent ballast has to be removed or bypassed. Leaving the ballast in circuit is not an option with this lamp. It accepts 120-277 volt line power, so it works in both residential 120V and commercial 277V fixtures once rewired.
2) Can the Satco S11653 T5 LED be wired single ended or does it have to be double ended?
