Wet location rated, and listed for indoor or outdoor use, so soffits, covered exterior ceilings, and shower or tub areas are all within its rating. The IP20 rating covers finger-sized solid objects only, so it is not a fixture to expose to direct spray or submersion. Certification is cETLus Listed, which covers both US and Canadian installs.

The S11874 has a selector on the fixture with five settings: 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, and 5000K. You pick the color at install, so one part number covers every space in a building, and you can dial it to 3000K to match warm white fixtures already in the ceiling. For a property manager standardizing across units, that means stocking one SKU instead of five.

Output is 700 lumens at 10 watts on 120 volts. That is in the range of a 60 to 65 watt incandescent, so it is a fair one-for-one swap on general ceiling lighting in corridors, closets, baths, and small rooms. For a high ceiling or a room lit by only one or two fixtures, you will want to space more of them or step up in size.

The fixture is dimmable on 120 volt, 60 Hz line power. Because the dimming happens through a remote LED driver rather than a resistive filament, it wants a dimmer rated for LED loads. An older incandescent-only dimmer left in the wall is the usual cause of flicker or a dead low end on a job like this, so swap the control at the same time you swap the fixture.

It is California T24 Listed, so it can be used where Title 24 compliant lighting is specified. It is also FCC compliant and RoHS compliant, which covers the two other boxes an institutional or government spec sheet usually asks about.

The fixture is a 4 inch nominal round downlight measuring 4.72 inches across the outside, so the trim laps over a nominal 4 inch opening. On a retrofit into existing 4 inch cans or holes, measure the actual opening first: anything cut wider than the 4.72 inch body will show gaps. Black only. The trim is aluminum, which is what carries heat away from the LED board in a fixture this shallow, and the black finish reads as a low-glare aperture in a dark ceiling or a commercial fit-out. If you need white trim to disappear into a painted ceiling, this is not the part number.

No. The LED is integrated, so there is no socket and no bulb to change. When the light array reaches end of life you replace the whole fixture; the remote driver, being a separate component, can be swapped on its own if that is what failed. Rated life on the fixture is 50,000 hours.
