Schaub 563 12" Center to Center Heathrow Cabinet Pull

It takes #8-32 machine screws, supplied at 1 inch length. That works on standard 3/4 inch cabinet doors and drawer fronts. If you are mounting to a thicker slab front or through a false front with a backer, you will need longer #8-32 screws, which are a standard size at any hardware counter.

If your current pull is also 12 inches on center, yes, the Heathrow 563 drops onto the same two holes. Check the screw size in the old posts first: this one is #8-32, and if the existing pull used metric M4 screws you just need #8-32 screws of the right length rather than new holes.

The Schaub 563 Heathrow is a contemporary solid brass pull at 12 inch center to center with a 13-3/4 inch overall length, so it suits wide drawers and tall appliance or pantry fronts. For narrower drawer fronts, the Omnia 1968/102 is a modern forged solid brass cabinet pull with 4 inch center-to-center spacing, and the Deltana SBP35 is a heavy-duty solid brass modern square bar pull at 3-1/2 inch. Both are much shorter runs, so screw hole layout will not match an existing 12 inch bore.

Projection is 1-1/4 inches, measured from the cabinet face to the back of the grip. That gives full hand clearance, and it matters if the cabinet sits next to a wall return or an appliance panel, since the pull will stick out that far when the door swings.

Solid brass, not plated zinc or hollow tube. A solid brass bar pull at 3/4 inch bar size resists bending and the threads in the posts take repeated removal, which is what matters when you are turning units and swapping fronts. Finish wear is the variable: Polished Chrome and Brushed Nickel hide handling better than Polished Nickel in high traffic.

The Orca Hardware CK-12001 is a T-pull bar in steel with a 2 inch bar width and a satin nickel finish. If the job calls for brass-bodied hardware or a finish other than satin nickel, the 563 is the one that covers it.
