Schaub 958K 1-11/16" Floral Heirloom Treasures Cabinet Knob

A single knob mounts on one hole, and the 958K takes the standard 8-32 machine screw, so it goes back into an existing single-bore knob hole without new drilling. What it will not do is cover two-hole pull centers. If you are replacing pulls, you need a pull with matching center-to-center or a backplate.

They are related but not interchangeable. The Schaub 958K is the Heirloom Treasures floral knob in solid brass. Emtek sells a Schaub Collection of its own, including the Emtek 8665 Select cabinet knob, the Allerton cabinet knob, the Art Deco cabinet knob, and the Astoria glass cabinet knob, each a distinct series with its own styling. If a drawing calls out 958K specifically, order the Schaub part number rather than an Emtek Schaub Collection knob.

Projection is 1 inch off the face of the door, with a 3/8 inch base where it meets the wood. That 1 inch stand-off gives enough finger clearance for a gloved hand and keeps the knob clear of an adjacent inset door edge.

It is a round floral knob measuring 1-11/16 by 1-1/2 inches, so it is not a perfect circle in plan. At that size it reads as a larger decorative knob rather than a small utility knob, which matters if you are mixing it with narrow drawer fronts or stile-and-rail doors with slim rails.

Solid brass throughout, in an Antique Brass finish. Solid brass takes daily pulls and cleaning better than plated zinc, which is why it gets specified on kitchens, millwork, and hospitality casework where knobs get handled constantly.

Antique Brass (AB) is the finish the 958K is offered in. If the job needs a different tone, look at another Schaub collection or at the Emtek Select and Allerton cabinet knobs from the Schaub collection, which are separate model families rather than finish options on the 958K.

The 958K is a decorative floral knob from the Heirloom Treasures collection in the Symphony Inlays style. For a plain profile in the same solid brass, the Deltana KRB175 is a heavy-duty round knob with a groove at 1-3/4 inch diameter, and the Orca CK-18032 Mission is a simple round knob. Delaney also lists a solid brass cabinet knob. All are different looks, not drop-in matches for the floral face.

For a simpler face on the same door, the Orca Hardware CK-18032 Mission round cabinet knob is a straight round knob from the 18-Mission collection, and the Orca CK-19032 Whistler cabinet knob is another plain-profile option. Both are cabinet knobs by function, so the application is the same; only the styling changes.

The Schaub 958K uses a solid brass base material. Two other solid brass options are the Delaney solid brass cabinet knob and the Deltana KRB175, a heavy-duty solid brass round knob at 1-3/4 inch diameter. All three are cabinet knobs mounting with standard cabinet knob screws; the 958K takes an 8/32 by 1 inch screw, so confirm screw length against your door and drawer front thicknesses when mixing models.
