1) What does the Schlage 20-172 fit, and is it a complete cabinet lock or just the cylinder?
Just the cylinder. The 20-172 is a six-pin keying cylinder for Schlage CL series cabinet locks, so the cabinet lock body needs to already be in the door or be ordered alongside it. Brass and stainless steel, commercial spec, and two keys come with it.
2) Does the Schlage 20-172 cabinet cylinder arrive keyed, or do I have to key it myself?
