1) Do I have to specify left hand or right hand when ordering the Schlage 30-022 mortise cylinder?
Handing matters here. The 30-022 is a handed cylinder, so right hand and left hand are separate parts and the Schlage L cam has to sit the correct way round for the lock case it drives. 4) Can I get a Schlage mortise cylinder cut to the same keyway as the rest of my building?
Keyway is picked on the order, and the range is wide: C123, C124, C125, C134, C135, C234, C235, C245 and C345 on the C sections, S125, S135, S145, S234, S235 and S345 on the S sections, plus G, FG and CE. Match the section stamped on the key you already carry, not just the bitting, or the key will not enter. Two cut keys come with the cylinder, so a single door swap needs nothing else on the key side.
5) Does this Schlage cylinder work on a Primus XP or Everest 29 master key system?
Yes on all three of Schlage's key systems.
