Two build options in the IPD Series, both supplied with an enclosure. The IPDCE is the IPPro controller board, which is the head end that runs the door and hosts the web server. The IPDSE is the door station expansion board, which adds a door to an existing IPPro system rather than standing on its own. If you are starting a system, order the IPDCE; if you are adding doors to one already in place, the IPDSE is the board you want.
2) Can I run the SDC IPPro IPD controller off Power over Ethernet, or do I need a separate power supply?
The IPD Series is PoE+ compliant, so a PoE+ switch or injector can power the controller over the same cable that carries the network, with no separate power supply run to the door.
