Securitron UHB Universal Header Bracket Accessories

The UHB is a header bracket that extends the header depth from 1 inch to 1-1/2 inches so a Securitron magnalock has enough surface to mount to, and it gives you a concealed chamber to run the lock wiring through instead of leaving it exposed on the header. It is an installation accessory, not a lock or a strike.

It works with all Securitron magnalock models, so you pick the bracket by the length you need at the opening rather than by which mag you are mounting. Choose the 8 inch or the 12 inch.

Match the bracket length to the footprint of the mag you are mounting: the 12 inch UHB suits full-size magnalocks that need the longer mounting run, the 8 inch suits the shorter-bodied units. Both do the same job, extending the header to 1-1/2 inches with a wiring chamber behind. Measure the lock body before you order, because the bracket length is the only sizing decision on the part.

That is exactly the problem it solves. If your header gives you about 1 inch of mounting depth, the UHB brings it to 1-1/2 inches so the magnalock body has a full seat, and the wiring runs concealed inside the bracket rather than through an exposed loom. Common on aluminum storefront and glass front openings where the header face is shallow.

Two anodized finishes: clear anodized and black anodized. Clear is the one that blends with mill-finish aluminum storefront and most standard aluminum headers; black matches dark bronze and black anodized frames. Both finishes are offered in the 8 inch and the 12 inch length, so finish does not limit your size choice.

The UHB is the header bracket only. The magnalock itself, and any armature or strike hardware for the door leaf, are separate line items. Order the bracket in the length and finish that suit the opening alongside the lock.
