The SharkBite UR30 Series Max water heater connector gives plumbers and contractors a fast, tool-free way to hook up a water heater to existing supply pipe. This family is built around a 3/4 in. Push-to-Connect x 3/4 in. FIP flexible braided stainless steel hose, available in lengths of 12 in., 18 in., and 24 in. to match the model selected (UR3088FX12, UR3088FX18, or UR3068FX24). Every connector in the UR30 Series carries a 200 psi pressure rating and installs on PEX, copper, CPVC, PE-RT, or HDPE pipe without soldering, clamps, unions, glue, or special tools. A newly designed stainless steel collet retainer adds strength and durability, and the re-engineered body allows the pipe to be inserted with less force than earlier designs. No PEX tube liner is required for this connection.
