The SharkBite UXL7 is a large-diameter push-to-connect female adapter that transitions CTS push-to-connect pipe on one end to a matching FNPT threaded connection on the other, available in trade sizes from 1-1/4-In to 2-In. It lets plumbers join PEX, copper, CPVC, PE-RT, or HDPE pipe to threaded fittings, valves, or fixtures without soldering, clamps, unions, glue, or special tools. Built with a low-lead DZR corrosion-resistant brass body, stainless steel gripping teeth, and a chlorine-resistant O-ring, this fitting is rated to 200 degrees F and 200 PSI and is backed by a 25-year warranty when used with PEX, copper, CPVC, or PE-RT pipe. Simply insert the pipe and the internal teeth bite down while the O-ring compresses to form a watertight seal that can be pressure tested immediately.
