The SharkBite UXL6 Series is a large-diameter push-to-connect coupling built for fast, tool-free joining of PEX, copper, CPVC, PE-RT, or HDPE pipe in any combination. Available in CTS trade sizes from 1-1/4\" through 2\", this family of couplings requires no soldering, clamps, unions, glue, or special tools — simply insert the pipe and stainless steel gripping teeth bite down while a chlorine-resistant O-ring compresses to form a watertight seal. Constructed of low-lead DZR corrosion-resistant brass, every size in this line is rated to 200°F and 200 PSI and is IAPMO listed. Rough-in plumbers can install on wet or dry lines and pressure test immediately, without waiting on soldered joints to cool or solvents to cure.
