1) Will the Sioux Chief 888-ATM closet flange glue to PVC drain pipe?
No. The 888-ATM body is molded ABS, so it solvent welds to ABS drain-waste-vent pipe only. ABS cement will not make a sound joint to PVC. If the toilet drain stub-out under the floor is white PVC, order a PVC-bodied closet flange in the same 3 inch trade size instead.
2) Can I rotate the closet bolt slots after the flange is already glued in?
Yes, and that is the point of the ATM version. The 430 stainless steel ring swivels independently of the ABS body, so after the flange is solvent welded you spin the ring to line the bolt slots up square with the wall. No need to break or twist the pipe joint to get the toilet parallel.
