    2) Can I wire the NoTouch touch-free exit button into my existing access control panel or maglock circuit?
    It switches a Form C dry contact rated 0.5A at 120VAC or 1A at 24VDC, so it drops into an access control input, a mag lock circuit, or an electric strike circuit the same way a mechanical push-to-exit button would. Because the contact is Form C you get both normally open and normally closed sides, which is what you need if the panel expects an NC break. The button itself needs power: 12 to 24 VDC, 45mA max, which nearly any access control power supply already has spare.
    3) I'm ordering NoTouch exit buttons for a whole building. What do I need to specify on each door?
    Two decisions per opening. First, gang type: US single gang or European single gang, matching the back box in the wall. Second, whether you need a back box supplied, KIT-BB1CA for US or KIT-BB3CA for European, if the wall is not already boxed.     4) How long does the door stay unlocked after someone waves at the NoTouch button?
    The relay latch time is field adjustable from 0.5 to 20 seconds on the unit itself, so you set the unlock window at the door rather than in the panel. Half a second suits an interior door on a momentary release; the longer end of the range is what you want on an accessible entrance or a door someone is pushing a cart through.
    5) Can I put a touch-free exit button in a parking garage, a loading dock, or a wash-down area?
