Sure-Loc MN-SET-PH1 15 – Frequently Asked Questions

1) Is the Sure-Loc Monza paper holder rated for commercial restrooms?
No. The Monza single post paper holder is a residential bath accessory, built for home bathrooms, powder rooms, and multi-family residential units. For a high-traffic public restroom you want a commercial-grade washroom accessory instead, not this one.
2) What is the closest single post equivalent to the Sure-Loc Monza paper holder set from another brand?
The Sure-Loc Monza Single Post Paper Holder Set is matched most directly by the Deltana 55D2001, a single post toilet paper holder in the 55D Series built of solid brass, and by the Deltana BBN2001, also a single post holder in the BBN Series. Both share the Monza's single post configuration, so a roll changes the same way on the wall. The Monza set is the one to stay with if you are matching other Monza Series bath hardware in a home; the Deltana single posts are the substitute when brass construction is the deciding factor.
3) I want a double post holder instead of the single post Monza - what should I order?
The Sure-Loc Monza Paper Holder Set uses a single post design, so if the specification calls for a roll captured between two posts, the Deltana 98C2001 is the alternative: it is a classic double post toilet paper holder in the 98C Series, solid brass. Double post holds the roll on a pivoting bar between two arms rather than on one cantilevered post, which is often preferred where tenants pull hard on the roll.
4) What finishes does the Sure-Loc Monza single post paper holder come in?
Four finishes: 15 Satin Nickel, 26 Polished Chrome, FBL Flat Black, and SB Satin Brass. If you're matching other Monza Series bath pieces or door hardware in the same unit, pick the finish code that already appears on those openings so the suite stays consistent.
5) Single post vs double post toilet paper holder, which should I use?
A single post holder like the Sure-Loc Monza set holds the roll on one open-ended arm, so the roll slides on and off from one side and it takes less wall run. A double post design, such as the Deltana 98C2001 Classic double post holder, captures the roll between two posts with a removable spindle. Single post is quicker to reload, which is why property managers often prefer it in rentals.
6) I'm outfitting apartment turns, is a cheaper tube-style paper holder a better fit?
If you're doing volume turns and want a replaceable roller, Orca Hardware's 2752 Cypress and 4852 Blakely holders use a plastic tube, so a broken spindle is a cheap swap rather than a whole fixture. The Sure-Loc Monza single post has no tube to replace and gives a cleaner minimal profile. Both suit residential units; the choice is maintenance style versus appearance.
7) Are the Emtek bar style paper holders the same thing as the Sure-Loc Monza single post set?
No. The Emtek Modern Brass, Traditional Brass, Transitional Brass and Sandcast Bronze paper holders are all bar style, meaning the roll rides on a bar spanning between mounts, which is a different mounting footprint and a different look from the Sure-Loc Monza Single Post Paper Holder Set. If you are replacing a Monza post one-for-one, the Emtek bar style units are not a drop-in; they are the choice when the design direction is a spanning bar and you are matching Emtek bath hardware such as the Sandcast Bronze Bath Hardware or Transitional Bath Hardware series.
8) For a multi-family turn where residents replace rolls constantly, is there a paper holder with a replaceable roller instead of the Monza's post?
The Sure-Loc Monza set is a single post holder, with no separate roller tube. For units where a broken plastic roller is the usual failure point and you want that part to be the wear item, Orca Hardware offers the 2752 in the 27-Cypress Series and the 4852 Blakely, both toilet paper holders supplied with a plastic tube. Those give a replaceable tube between two posts; the Monza gives you a single post that coordinates with other Monza Series bath pieces.
9) I need a euro style open-end paper holder rather than the Monza - what are the options?
The Sure-Loc Monza Single Post Paper Holder Set is a post-style residential fixture sold as a complete set. If you want the open-end euro profile instead, Orca Hardware lists the 3655 Swirl Euro toilet paper holder in the 36-Swirl Series and the 5255 Ripple Euro in the 52-Ripple Series. Euro style lets the roll slide off the open end without removing a post or bar, which suits high-turnover guest baths; the Monza is the pick when the bath hardware suite is being matched across Monza Series pieces.
10) Which paper holder should I standardize on if I am specifying solid brass throughout a bathroom?
The Sure-Loc Monza Single Post Paper Holder Set is offered in Satin Nickel, Polished Chrome, Flat Black and Satin Brass finishes and coordinates with other Monza Series bath hardware. Where the specification names solid brass construction, Deltana covers it across configurations: the 55D2001 single post and the 88DTPH in the 88 Series are solid brass, and the 98C2001 double post is solid brass as well. Pick by configuration first - single post to match the Monza, double post if the roll needs to be captured.
11) Does the Monza paper holder need any wiring or power?
No power, no wiring. It is a fully mechanical fixture, so it mounts to the wall and is done. Nothing to reset, no batteries, no sensor to fail.
12) Can I match the Monza paper holder to other bath accessories in the same bathroom?
Yes. The Monza Series is a coordinated bath hardware collection, so the single post paper holder is meant to be specified alongside other Monza pieces in the same finish for a consistent look across the room.
