Sure-Loc MN-SET-PH3 15 – Frequently Asked Questions

1) Is the Sure-Loc Monza paper holder suitable for a commercial restroom?
No. The Monza euro paper holder is designated residential, so it is meant for primary baths, powder rooms, guest baths, and multi-family dwelling units, not high-traffic public restrooms. For a commercial washroom you want a heavy-duty commercial paper dispenser rather than a residential decorative set.
2) What is the closest euro-style alternative to the Sure-Loc Monza Euro Paper Holder Set?
The Orca Hardware 3655 Swirl Euro Toilet Paper Holder and the Orca Hardware 5255 Ripple Euro Toilet Paper Holder are the closest euro-style matches. Both are euro-style paper holders like the Monza Euro Paper Holder Set, with the 3655 from the 36-Swirl Series and the 5255 from the 52-Ripple Series, so the difference comes down to which decorative series you want the bath to follow.
3) I need a toilet paper holder with a roller tube instead of a euro open post. What should I use?
The Orca Hardware 2752 and the Orca Hardware 4852 Blakely are both supplied with a plastic tube, which is the roller-style arrangement. The Sure-Loc Monza Euro Paper Holder Set uses the euro profile instead, so if the specification calls for a tube-type roll holder the 2752 or 4852 is the direct answer.
4) Will the Monza paper holder match my other Sure-Loc bath accessories?
Yes, it is built as part of Sure-Loc's Monza Series bath hardware line, so the towel bars, rings and other Monza pieces share the same euro profile and finish codes. Order all of them in the same finish code (15, 26, FBL or SB) and the set reads as one suite.
5) Euro-style paper holder versus a post-style holder, which should I use?
A euro-style holder like the Monza uses an open arm profile and a clean contemporary look, so the roll slides on without a spring rod. A post style holds the roll on a pin or a tube between two posts, which some people prefer because the roll cannot be lifted off as easily. If you want the post look in the same category, the Deltana 55D2001 single post holder or the 98C2001 Classic double post holder are the traditional-profile alternatives, and the Orca 2752 Cypress holder uses a plastic tube.
6) Is this a reasonable spec for turning multi-family units or a rental remodel?
Yes, it is aimed at exactly that work: residential baths in single-family and multi-family properties, renovation and new construction. Four finish options mean a property manager can standardize one finish across every unit and reorder the same item, and with no electronics there is nothing to fail or maintain.
7) I am matching a bar-style bath hardware suite. Does the Monza euro paper holder work, or is there a better fit?
For a bar-style suite, Emtek's bar style paper holders are the match: the Modern Brass Paper Holder in the Modern Brass Bath Hardware series, the Transitional Brass in the Transitional Bath Hardware series, the Traditional Brass in the Traditional Bath Hardware series, and the Sandcast Bronze in the Sandcast Bronze Bath Hardware series. The Sure-Loc Monza Euro Paper Holder Set is a euro-style piece built to coordinate with other Monza Series bath hardware instead.
8) Is there a solid brass toilet paper holder I can use in place of the Sure-Loc Monza set?
Yes. Deltana offers several solid brass paper holders: the 55D2001 single post in the 55D Series, the 88DTPH in the 88 Series, and the 98C2001 Classic double post in the 98C Series. The Sure-Loc Monza Euro Paper Holder Set is a residential bath accessory in the Monza Series, so choosing a Deltana solid brass unit changes both the material and the decorative family.
9) What is the difference between a single post and a double post paper holder in this class?
A single post holder such as the Deltana 55D2001 or the Deltana BBN2001 carries the roll on one arm, while the Deltana 98C2001 Classic is a double post design with the roll supported on both sides. The Sure-Loc Monza Euro Paper Holder Set uses the euro profile, which is the open-arm approach rather than a two-post cradle.
10) My spec sheet calls for a Deltana BBN2001 but the rest of the bath is Sure-Loc. What are my options?
The Deltana BBN2001 is a single post paper holder in the BBN Series. If the remaining bath hardware is Sure-Loc, the Monza Euro Paper Holder Set is the coordinating piece within the Monza Series and is offered in Satin Nickel, Polished Chrome, Flat Black, and Satin Brass, so you can hold the finish line across the room rather than mixing series.
11) Does this paper holder need any power or batteries?
No wiring, no batteries, no transformer. The Monza euro paper holder is a purely mechanical accessory, which is why it can go on any wall in a bath with nothing behind it but blocking or anchors.
12) Do I get everything I need in one box, or do I order parts separately?
It ships as a complete paper holder set, so you are not sourcing the arm and the mounting pieces as separate line items. For a full bath, the paper holder is one line and any Monza towel bar or ring is a separate order.
13) Do any of these paper holders need power or wiring?
No. The Sure-Loc Monza Euro Paper Holder Set is non-electronic, with no batteries or wiring to install, and the comparable units are the same class of mechanical accessory, including the Deltana 88DTPH solid brass holder and the Orca Hardware 3655 Swirl Euro holder. Selection between them is a matter of style and material, not of power provisions.
