Tell EDEKT80 - Storeroom Function Exit Device Lever Trim

Storeroom function means the outside lever is always locked. A key retracts the latch for entry, but the lever never stays unlocked, so the door re-secures every time it closes. Free egress is always available from the inside through the exit device itself. It's the usual choice for stockrooms, mechanical rooms, and back-of-house doors where you don't want anyone leaving the opening passage.

Yes. The EDEKT80 trim covers doors from 1-3/8 inch to 1-3/4 inch thick, so it works on both older 1-3/8 inch interior doors and standard 1-3/4 inch commercial doors.

Keying is a required selection. You can order it keyed different, keyed alike if you're putting several openings on one key, or with no cylinder at all if you're supplying your own or keying it into an existing system. There's also an optional key code field if the building is already on a code you need matched.

It's outside trim only. The EDEKT80 is the keyed lever that mounts on the pull side of a door already fitted with a Tell Pro Line exit device; the push bar and latch mechanism are a separate item. If you're replacing a broken or vandalized outside lever and the device itself is sound, this is the part you want.

Yes. Select keyed alike at order time and the cylinders ship on one common key, which is what property managers and MRO buyers want when the same maintenance key has to open a run of storeroom doors. Order them keyed different if each room needs its own key.

Choose storeroom trim like the EDEKT80 when the outside has to stay locked at all times and only a key gets you in: service corridors, storage, electrical rooms. Choose a classroom or entry style trim instead when staff need to unlock the lever and leave the door usable by hand during business hours. Either way, egress from inside is handled by the exit device, not the trim.

Satin chrome, 626 (also called US26D). If the rest of your push bars, hinges, and closers in the building are satin chrome, this matches without a special order.

It's a commercial product, built as exit device trim for openings running a panic or fire exit device. That's the application it belongs in, not a house door.
