Tell EDEKT80 - Storeroom Function Exit Device Lever Trim

Storeroom function means the outside lever is always fixed. It never retracts the latch, so the door stays locked from the outside at all times and entry is by key only. Push the device from the inside and you are always free to exit. It is the right choice for a stockroom, mechanical room, or any door that must never be left unlocked by accident. If you want the lever to stay unlocked during business hours, storeroom is the wrong function.

Trim only. The EDEKT80 is the outside keyed lever trim that mounts on the pull side of a door already fitted with a Tell Pro Line exit device. It gives you keyed outside access; the panic device itself, which does the latching and the free egress, is a separate purchase.

Yes. Keying is a required selection: keyed different, keyed alike across multiple locks, or no cylinder at all if you plan to supply your own. There is also an optional key code field, so if your building runs an existing key code you can enter it and have the trim cut to match rather than adding another key to the ring.

Order it with no cylinder when you already run a keyway or a restricted key system and want to install your own mortise cylinder so the door falls into your existing masterkey hierarchy. Locksmiths and integrators usually take this route. If you have no key system to match, pick keyed different for a standalone opening or keyed alike when several doors should share one key.

US26D satin chrome, the brushed chrome finish that matches most commercial lever sets and closers already hanging in schools, offices, and multi-family corridors. If your building is standardized on satin chrome hardware, this trim will blend with it.
