1) Can I cut this 6 foot threaded rod to length for conduit and strut hangers?
Yes. It is threaded continuously over the full 6 feet, so you can cut it anywhere along the rod and still land on usable thread. That is what full-thread stock is for on a job: cut each drop to the height you need for strut trapeze, conduit clamps, or beam clamps, then run nuts and washers from either end. Clean up the cut end with a file or a nut backed off over the cut so the threads start easily.
2) Does the Metallics TRS8/6HDG threaded rod come with nuts and washers?
No. The TRS8/6HDG is bare rod only. Order 3/8-16 hex nuts, flat washers, and whatever attachment you are hanging from (strut nuts, beam clamps, rod couplings, or concrete anchors with 3/8-16 internal thread) as separate line items.
3) Will 3/8-16 threaded rod work with 3/8 inch rod couplings and strut nuts?
It will. 3/8-16 is the standard coarse thread for 3/8 inch rod, which is the size most channel strut nuts, rod couplings, swivel ring hangers, and 3/8 inch drop-in anchors are tapped for. If you need a longer run than 6 feet, join two lengths with a 3/8-16 coupling nut rather than splicing.
4) Is this threaded rod sold as a single piece or in a bundle?
