The TOTO Axiom ECOPOWER 0.5 GPM Touchless Bathroom Faucet with Mixing Valve, 20 Second Continuous Flow is ideal for high-traffic spaces, providing an elegant water conservation solution. Powered by the force of running water, the ECOPOWER hydro-turbine creates an electrical current that is stored in rechargeable cells to power operation of the faucet. No external power source, wiring, or battery replacement is necessary. The ECOPOWER system is highly efficient, replenishing power stores with no minimum daily usage. The sensor is strategically positioned underneath the spout head to accurately sense the hands for touchless use. The 0.5 GPM 20 second continuous flow faucet uses only 0.17 gallons per cycle and is CEC and CALGreen compliant. The water will flow continuously for 20 seconds, preventing water waste from the faucet being left running. The included mixing valve allows for water temperature adjustment. Easy installation and low-cost maintenance makes this faucet practical, sustainable, and durable. The ECO CAP aerating technology balances the amount of air bubbles in the water for a comfortable experience while saving water. Included items: spout, operating controller, mixing valve, and mounting hardware included. Purchased separately: water supply line for G 1/2 inch connection.

TOTO T25S53EM#CP – Frequently Asked Questions

1) Will the TOTO Axiom touchless faucet work in a single-hole sink deck?
Single hole is exactly what the Axiom T25 spout is built for. It needs one faucet hole, deck-mounts, and handles a deck up to 2 inches thick, so it works on thick stone or solid-surface counters as well as standard vanity tops. If your existing sink is drilled 4 inch centerset or 8 inch widespread, you'll need a deck plate or a different faucet, since the spout only covers the one hole.
2) Does the TOTO Axiom sensor faucet need to be wired, or does it run on batteries?
Both options exist in the Axiom T25 line, and you pick one when you order: ECOPOWER, AC power, or a spout that accepts either. ECOPOWER runs off a hydro-turbine in the water path that charges a lithium ion cell, so there is no wiring to pull and no battery to swap out. AC versions need a transformer circuit at the fixture. If you're retrofitting an existing restroom with no power under the lavatory, ECOPOWER is the one that avoids an electrician.
3) What plumbing connection does the TOTO Axiom T25 faucet use, and is the supply line included?
The Axiom spout terminates in a G 1/2 connection. Supply lines are not in the box, so order flexible connectors for a G 1/2 inlet with your faucet. What does come with it: the spout, the operating controller, the mixing valve, and the mounting hardware. A drain is not included either, so spec a pop-up or grid drain separately.
4) Does the TOTO Axiom touchless faucet come with a mixing valve, or do I have to buy one?
A valve ships with the Axiom, and you choose which kind on the order. Three choices: a standard mixing valve for basic hot and cold blending, a thermostatic mixing valve where you need tempered water held at a set point, or None if the building already has a central tempering valve serving the lavatories. Thermostatic is the usual pick for schools, healthcare, and anywhere scald protection is being specified at the fixture.
5) How tall is the TOTO Axiom faucet spout and will it clear a vessel sink?
Two spout heights are made in the Axiom T25 family. The low version measures 6.50 x 1.31 x 5.44 inches with a 4.63 inch spout height and 4.94 inch reach, which suits a standard drop-in or undermount lavatory. The tall version measures 7.81 x 1.31 x 9.94 inches with a 9.13 inch spout height and 6.31 inch reach, and that is the one to use over a vessel bowl or a raised trough. Check your bowl rim height against the 9.13 inch figure before committing.
6) What is the difference between the 10 second on-demand, 20 second on-demand, and 20 second continuous Axiom faucets?
It changes how long water runs per activation. On-demand models stop when hands leave the sensor, with a 10 or 20 second cap so a stuck sensor cannot run the fixture dry. The 20 second continuous version runs a full timed 20 second cycle from one wave of the hand, which is what you want where users are lathering and would otherwise re-trigger the sensor repeatedly. On the 0.5 GPM continuous model that is 0.17 gallons per cycle. Flow itself is either 0.35 or 0.5 GPM, and 0.35 is the lower-consumption option for high-traffic restrooms.
7) Is the TOTO Axiom touchless faucet ADA compliant for a commercial restroom?
ADA compliant, yes. Sensor operation means there is nothing to grip, twist, or pinch, which is the part of the ADA operable-parts requirement that trips up handle faucets. It also meets CEC and CALGreen, so it clears California water-efficiency requirements on state and institutional work.
8) What are the component parts that make up a TOTO Axiom ECOPOWER faucet assembly?
An Axiom ECOPOWER assembly is built from three pieces: the spout TLE25006U3#CP, the controller TLE03502U3, and the mixing valve TLM10. They ship together, but the part breakdown matters for service work, since a failed controller or valve can be replaced without pulling the spout out of the deck.
9) What is the TOTO Axiom faucet body made of, and will it hold up in a high-traffic public restroom?
Brass body, chrome plated. Brass is what you want in a school, stadium, or airport restroom where the fixture takes constant use and occasional abuse, as opposed to a plastic or zinc spout. The ECOPOWER versions add a second durability angle: no batteries to change on a maintenance route, since the turbine recharges the cell with no minimum daily usage required.
10) Where is the sensor on the TOTO Axiom faucet, and does it false-trigger?
The sensor sits underneath the spout head on the Axiom, aimed down into the bowl rather than out across the room. That placement is why it reads hands at the point of use instead of picking up someone walking past the vanity. It also means the sensor window is one of the few things a cleaning crew needs to keep wiped on a service round.
