The TOTO® Axiom Wall-Mount AC Powered 0.35 GPM Touchless Bathroom Faucet, 20 Second On-Demand Flow is ideal for high-traffic spaces, providing an elegant water conservation solution. The sensor is strategically positioned underneath the spout head to accurately sense the hands for touchless use. The 0.35 GPM 20 second on-demand faucet uses only 0.12 gallons per cycle and is CEC and CALGreen compliant. The on-demand system means that water flows only when needed and cannot be accidentally left running. When hands are present, the water will flow, and when hands are removed, the water will stop. The ECO CAP aerating technology balances the amount of air bubbles in the water for a comfortable experience while saving water. Included items: spout, operating controller and mounting hardware included. Purchased separately: water supply line for G 1/2 inch connection. Requires 120V AC power supply.

TOTO T25L32ET#CP – Frequently Asked Questions

1) Will the TOTO Axiom wall-mount touchless faucet work with my existing sink, or do I need a special deck?
Nothing mounts to the sink deck. The Axiom touchless spout is a wall-mount spout, so the body and the sensor sit on the wall above the basin and the plumbing runs in the wall behind it. If your lavatory has a deck hole and no in-wall rough-in, this is the wrong configuration. Reach is 8.88 inches from the wall, which is what you check against the basin depth so the stream lands in the bowl and not on the front rim.
2) How many holes does the Axiom wall-mount sensor faucet need, and what size is the water connection?
One hole, single-hole installation, and the supply connects at G 1/2. The supply line itself is not in the box, so a G 1/2 flex or rigid supply gets ordered separately. The spout, the operating controller and the mounting hardware do come with it, and a valve is included.
3) Do I have to run electrical to a TOTO Axiom touchless faucet, or is there a battery version?
Both exist, and it is a decision you make when you order. Three power configurations are offered: AC power, EcoPower, and EcoPower or AC. AC versions need a 120V AC supply at the faucet, so an electrician and a fed junction box are part of the job. EcoPower is TOTO's self-generating option and ships with a lithium ion battery, which is the one to pick on a retrofit where getting power into the wall cavity is the expensive part.
4) Should I order the 0.35 GPM or the 0.5 GPM Axiom faucet for a commercial restroom?
Two flow rates are offered, 0.35 and 0.5 GPM. The 0.35 GPM 20 second on-demand build uses only 0.12 gallons per cycle and is CEC and CALGreen compliant, which is the one to specify on a California job or anywhere a water-use credit is being chased. Where the spec sheet or the facility calls for more perceived volume at the spout, 0.5 GPM is the higher-flow option. ECO CAP aerating technology blends air into the stream so 0.35 does not feel starved.
5) Can I get tempered water from the Axiom sensor faucet, or does it run cold only?
Three valve choices are offered: a mixing valve, a thermostatic mixing valve, or none. A plain mixing valve blends hot and cold to a set point you adjust at install. The thermostatic version holds that temperature as supply pressure and incoming hot swing, which is what you want in a healthcare or school restroom where a scald event is the concern. The None option is for cold-water-only service or where a central tempering valve already feeds the group of lavatories. A valve is included with the faucet.
6) What is the difference between the 10 second on-demand, 20 second on-demand and 20 second continuous flow on the Axiom sensor faucet?
On-demand means the water runs only while hands are under the spout and stops the moment they leave, so it cannot be left running. The 10 and 20 second figures are the maximum run before the valve times out. Continuous, the 20 second continuous option, runs a fixed 20 second cycle once triggered whether or not the hands stay in place. For a school or stadium restroom where fixtures get abused, on-demand is the water-saving choice. Continuous is the one to specify where a timed handwash cycle is wanted, or where users are expected to wash rather than rinse.
7) Is the Axiom touchless wall-mount faucet ADA compliant?
Yes, the Axiom wall-mount touchless spout is ADA compliant. Touchless operation removes the grip-and-turn entirely, so there is no operable-force or tight-grasping issue at the fixture. The mounting height and knee clearance under the lavatory are still yours to set on site, since those belong to the basin and carrier, not the spout.
8) Does the TOTO Axiom touchless faucet come with a drain?
No drain is included. The Axiom touchless spout ships as spout, operating controller and mounting hardware, so a grid or pop-up drain and tailpiece get ordered alongside it, along with a G 1/2 supply line.
9) Where is the sensor on the Axiom wall-mount faucet, and will users have to hunt for it?
The sensor sits underneath the spout head, concealed inside the spout body, so hands are detected where they naturally go under the outlet rather than off to one side of a visible eye. That matters on a wall-mount spout with an 8.88 inch reach, since users approach from the front and the detection zone is directly below the stream.
10) What is the Axiom spout made of, and will it hold up in a high-traffic public restroom?
Brass body in polished chrome. Brass is the standard commercial lavatory spout material and takes the knocks and the cleaning chemicals a public restroom sees, which is a real consideration when the fixture is wall-hung and exposed on all sides. Touchless operation also removes the handle, the part that usually fails first on a heavily used fixture.
11) What finish does the Axiom wall-mount touchless faucet come in for matching other fixtures in a building?
Polished chrome, and that is the only finish in this configuration, so a multi-restroom rollout standardizes on chrome trim throughout. It reads as one family with the rest of the TOTO Axiom collection, which is the practical route if you are matching flush valves and accessories across a facility.
12) What TOTO part numbers make up an Axiom wall-mount touchless faucet assembly?
The assembly is built from the TLE25005U2#CP spout in polished chrome, the TLE03501U2 controller, and TLE05701U. Those are the component designations behind the configured faucet, and they are what to reference if a single piece ever needs replacing rather than the whole fixture.
