1) What exactly comes in the Trimco 1747 push/pull bar set - is it one bar or two?

4) What is the difference between the Trimco 1747 and the 1746?
Grip shape. Both are 1-1/4 inch diameter 18 inch CTC push/pull bar sets, but the 1746 uses a straight pull that runs parallel to the door face, while the 1747 uses a 90 degree offset pull that stands the grip off the door on right-angle returns. Offset gives you more knuckle clearance and a different look; straight sits flatter. If you want the same offset style in a smaller size, Trimco also lists the 1737 (1 inch diameter, 10 inch CTC) and the 1738 (1 inch diameter, 12 inch CTC).
5) Does the Trimco 1747 come in an antimicrobial finish for a hospital or clinic door?
Yes. Alongside the standard architectural finishes the 1747 is offered in 710CU Healthy Hardware Steralloy Silver, Trimco's copper-based touch surface option, and the product is flagged as Healthy Hardware. On a wide storefront leaf the longer 30 or 36 inch bar spreads the push surface across the door; on a narrow leaf the 12 or 18 inch keeps it in from the stiles.
9) I only need a push bar on one side, not a pull. Is there a Trimco option for that?
For a push-only opening, look at the 1700 Series push bars rather than the 1747 set: the 1745 is the 1-1/4 inch diameter push bar in E mounting standard, with the 1741 at 1 inch and the 1740 at 3/4 inch. The 1747 is a set, so ordering it for a push-only door means paying for a pull you will not hang.
