This class 2, UL & cUL enclosed electronic power supply is used to power 24V invisiLED PRO or RGB submersible outdoor tape light. There are two power supplies available for invisiLED PRO and RGB: SKU # EN-O24100-RB2-T is IP44 factory sealed for installation in wet locations that can withstand low velocity sprays of water from every direction and 120V-277V universal input voltage, dimmable using a 0-10V dimmer. SKU # EN-OD24100-RB2-T is for indoor or covered damp locations only, 120V input voltage and dimmable using an ELV dimmer. WAC Lighting EN-O24 – Frequently Asked Questions

1) Can the WAC EN-O24 power supply be installed outdoors where it gets rained on?
Yes. The EN-O24 is a factory sealed, IP44 rated wet location power supply, UL and cUL listed, and it will take low velocity sprays of water from every direction. That makes it the one to use for exposed outdoor runs of 24V invisiLED PRO or RGB submersible tape light. If the driver location is indoors or under cover, the damp location version, EN-OD24100-RB2-T, is the other option.
2) What dimmer do I need for the WAC EN-O24 outdoor LED transformer?
A 0-10V dimmer. The wet location EN-O24100-RB2-T dims smoothly and continuously down to 10 percent on 0-10V control. An ELV dimmer will not work with it, that is the control type for the damp location EN-OD24100-RB2-T. Spec the 0-10V control line with the driver so the low voltage control wiring is on the drawing before rough-in.
3) Will this WAC transformer run on 277V in a commercial building?
Yes. The wet location EN-O24100-RB2-T takes a universal 120V to 277V input, so it can land on 120V, 240V or 277V branch circuits without changing part numbers. Output is 24V DC. The damp location alternative is 120V input only, so on a 277V panel the wet location unit is the one you want.
4) How much tape light can one WAC EN-O24 driver carry?
The unit is rated 96W of 24V DC output. Add up the per-foot wattage of your invisiLED PRO or RGB run and keep the total under that figure, allowing headroom, then add a second driver for longer runs.
5) Will the WAC EN-O24 power supply connect to invisiLED PRO outdoor submersible tape light without extra adapters?
It is built for that family. The driver is part of the invisiLED PRO Outdoor Submersible collection and is intended to power 24V invisiLED PRO or RGB submersible outdoor tape light. Male-to-female connectors on the supply tighten down to make a water tight joint, so no separate adapter is needed at the driver end.
6) Is this a plug-in transformer or does it need to be hardwired?
Hardwired. There is no cord or plug on the EN-O24, so an electrician lands the 120V to 277V supply leads in a box. The housing is aluminum and mounts reversibly, which gives you either orientation when fastening it inside a cavity or against a wall.
7) Does this WAC driver meet California Title 24 and Dark Sky requirements for a landscape lighting job?
Both are listed for the EN-O24: Title 24 compliant and Dark Sky. It is also noted as ADA compliant. Those three are the items most often flagged on institutional and municipal landscape lighting submittals, along with the UL and cUL 1598 listing and the IP44 wet location rating.
