1) Can the WAC Icon WS-W54614 wall sconce be used outdoors in rain and coastal weather?
Yes. The 14 inch Icon LED sconce is Wet Location rated and carries an IP65 rating along with ETL and cETL listings, so it can go on an exposed exterior wall. The housing is die cast aluminum with a powder coated finish and the light engine is factory sealed, which is what lets it take direct weather. It is also rated for indoor use, so you can carry the same fixture through a covered entry into a lobby or corridor.
2) Will the WS-W54614 Icon sconce run on 277V building power?
It will. The driver is universal input and accepts 120V, 240V or 277V, so the same fixture works on residential 120V and on 277V commercial lighting circuits. That matters if you are standardizing one sconce across a mixed-voltage property. It is a hardwired fixture, so it needs a junction box and a licensed connection, not a plug.
3) What dimmer works with the WAC Icon LED outdoor sconce?
Use an electronic low voltage (ELV) dimmer. The Icon sconce dims smoothly and continuously on ELV control. A standard incandescent or MLV dimmer is the wrong control type here and can give you flicker or drop-out at the low end, so spec the ELV device with the fixture.
4) Is this WAC sconce ADA compliant for a corridor or exit path?
Yes, the Icon WS-W54614 is listed ADA compliant, which is what lets it go in a corridor or along an egress path where projection from the wall is restricted. It also meets California Title 20. It is not Title 24 compliant and not Energy Star rated, so if your job is being permitted under Title 24 residential lighting requirements, check that before you spec it.

The catalogued configuration is 3000K across all three finishes. WAC does offer custom CCT on the Icon as a special order, so a different color temperature is a factory request rather than a stock pick. If you are matching existing fixtures on a property, 3000K is what ships as standard.
