WAC Lighting 15" Blo LED 5-CCT Energy Star Flush Mount FM-115

Blo LED Flush Mount is designed to blend into any decor with a clean and fresh appearance that produces an abundance of uniform diffused light. Ideal for use in foyers, corridors, hallways, bedrooms, offices, utility work areas, stairways and many other commercial or residential settings. Blo can be operated 24/7 and works with most LED dimmers to set the perfect light level - you'll enjoy the fixture's modern style and welcoming light. An on-board 5-CCT selectable switch allows you to toggle between different color temperatures to find the perfect setting for your space. Change between 2700K Warm - 3000K Warm White - 3500K White - 4000K Cool White - 5000K Natural White all at the flick of a switch. The color temperature selectable switch can be accessed during, before, and after installation - it is safely concealed inside the fixture and can be accessed by removing the twist-lock diffuser. Long-lasting energy efficient integrated LED's provide a maintenance-free solution that lasts up to 5 times longer than LED light bulbs or 50 times longer than incandescent light bulbs without losing any brightness. Blo is Energy Star Certified and will save you hundreds of dollars every year on energy and maintenance costs. Meets highest standards for residential and commercial applications - Energy Star certified, cUL certified in the USA and Canada and certified for Damp Locations.

WAC Lighting FM-115-CS-WT – Frequently Asked Questions

1) Can the WAC Blo FM-115 flush mount be used as a wall sconce, or is it ceiling only?
Both. The Blo 15 inch flush mount is listed for Ceiling/Wall mounting, so it surface mounts to a ceiling or goes up on a wall as a sconce using the same 15 inch backplate. It is hardwired, so you need a junction box at the location.
2) Will the WAC Blo FM-115 work on 277V commercial power?
Yes. The FM-115 ships with a universal input driver rated 120-240-277V, so the same fixture goes into a 277V commercial lighting circuit or a 120V residential one. Draw is 26W.
3) Can I put the WAC Blo 15 inch LED flush mount in a bathroom or a covered exterior walkway?
It carries a Damp location rating and is suitable indoors or outdoors under cover, so a bathroom ceiling, a covered porch, or a breezeway is within rating. It is not a wet location fixture, so keep it out of direct rain or spray.
4) What dimmer works with the WAC Blo FM-115 LED flush mount?
Use an electronic low voltage (ELV) or TRIAC dimmer. The integrated LED driver is dimmable on those two types; a standard incandescent-only or magnetic low voltage dimmer is the wrong control and will cause flicker or drop-out at the low end.
5) How do you change the color temperature on the WAC Blo flush mount after it is installed?
The 5-CCT switch sits inside the fixture housing. Twist off the white acrylic diffuser to reach it, flip the selector, and twist the diffuser back on. That means you can set the color before, during, or after install without pulling the fixture off the box. Range runs from 2700K warm up to 5000K.
6) Is the WAC Blo FM-115 bright enough to be the only fixture in a hallway or small bedroom?
At 2115 lumens from a 15 inch diffused acrylic lens, the Blo puts out enough uniform ambient light to serve as the single source in a hallway, foyer, bedroom, stairway, or utility room. CRI is 90, so colors and finishes read accurately under it.
7) Do I ever have to replace a bulb in the WAC Blo flush mount?
No. The light source is an integrated LED module, included with the fixture, not a replaceable lamp. There is no socket and no bulb to stock. For an MRO group standardizing a building, that removes relamping from the maintenance schedule entirely, but it also means the fixture itself is the replacement unit at end of life.
8) Can the WAC Blo FM-115 be installed in a closet?
Yes, the Blo is rated for closet installation. The flat 2.63 inch profile and fully enclosed white acrylic diffuser are what make that work, since there is no exposed lamp near stored goods.
9) What finish does the WAC Blo FM-115 come in, and what is the housing made of?
One finish only: white, ordered as FM-115-CS-WT. The housing is aluminum with a white acrylic diffuser, so the whole fixture reads white against a white ceiling. If you need a bronze or brushed nickel trim to match other fittings in a space, this is not the fixture.
10) Can the WAC Blo LED flush mount run 24 hours a day in a stairwell or corridor?
Yes, Blo is built for continuous 24/7 operation, which is what you want in a stairwell, egress corridor, or parking area that never goes dark. Running it on a dimmer set low off-hours is still an option since it dims on ELV or TRIAC controls.
