1) Can the WAC Vornado pendant be installed on a sloped or vaulted ceiling?
Yes, it mounts on a slope ceiling. The fixture hangs from adjustable aircraft cables off a round canopy, and the LED driver sits inside that canopy, so nothing extra is needed above the ceiling line other than a standard ceiling outlet box.
2) Will the Vornado LED pendant work on 277V commercial power?
Yes. The driver concealed in the canopy is universal voltage, rated 120V, 240V and 277V, so the same part number goes into a residential 120V circuit or a 277V commercial lighting branch with no separate SKU or transformer.
3) What dimmer do I need for the WAC PD-87720 pendant?
It dims on either an electronic low voltage (ELV) dimmer or a 0-10V control. A standard incandescent/TRIAC forward-phase dimmer is not the right control for it, so if you are replacing an older fixture on an existing dimmer, plan on swapping the wall control to ELV or wiring the 0-10V pair.
4) Can the Vornado pendant go in a covered porch or over a bathtub?
It carries a damp location rating and an IP44 rating, which covers a covered exterior porch, a soffit, or a bathroom. It is not a wet location fixture, so keep it out of direct rain or spray.
5) Does the WAC Vornado pendant meet California Title 24 for a new build?

Hardwired only, to a ceiling outlet box. There is no cord and plug, so an electrician is doing this install, and the driver is in the canopy rather than remote.

The body is spun solid aluminum with the light emitted through a silicone composite diffuser. The chrome version is plated aluminum. Aluminum construction plus a sealed integrated LED and IP44 rating make it a reasonable pick for a covered entry or a high-humidity lobby where a fabric or paper shade would not last.
