1) Can the Kepler BL-21205 reading light run on 277V in a commercial project?
Yes. The Kepler BL-21205 has a universal input driver rated 120-240-277V, concealed inside the fixture, so the same part number works on residential 120V and on 277V commercial branch circuits. That means one SKU covers a hotel guestroom job and a 277V corridor or patient-room application without changing product. It is a hardwired fixture, not a plug-in lamp, so it needs a junction box behind the backplate.
2) Will the Kepler wall-mounted reading light cover an existing 4-inch octagon junction box?
The Kepler's backplate is 5 inches in diameter, which covers a standard 4-inch round or octagon box. Overall the fixture is 5.25 inches high, 4.13 inches long and 2.63 inches wide, so it projects only a few inches off the wall next to a headboard. Mounting is wall, oriented down.
