2) Can I put the Loyd LED wall light on a dimmer?
No. The Loyd is non-dimming. It uses a simple on/off toggle switch on the canopy itself, so if the circuit is currently on a dimmer you should swap that device for a standard switch or leave the dimmer at full output. Do not spec it into a room where dimming control is on the drawing.
3) Will this WAC reading light run on 277V in a commercial building?
Yes. The Loyd is rated 120-240-277V, so the same part number works on residential 120V, 240V, and 277V commercial lighting circuits. That makes it usable in hotel guest rooms and multi-family units on 120V and in commercial spaces fed at 277V without a separate SKU.
4) Can the Loyd BL-69317 be used in a bathroom or a covered porch?
Damp location rated and IP44, so it is fine over a vanity, in a bathroom outside the shower zone, or under a covered exterior porch or breezeway. It is not rated for wet locations, so keep it out of direct rain, direct spray, or an uncovered exterior wall.
