The Duplex 2-light reading light is hardwired only, running on 120V, and there is no plug option. The LED driver is built into the backplate, so you need a junction box behind the mounting location and an electrician or licensed installer to tie it in. Plan for that before you spec it into a hotel headboard wall or an apartment bedroom retrofit that has no box in place.

It is damp location rated with an IP44 rating, so a bathroom away from direct spray or a covered exterior area is within its rating. It is not wet rated, so keep it out of open weather and out of a shower or tub enclosure where it would take direct water.

No. The Duplex LED reading light is not dimmable, so do not put it on a dimmer circuit or a smart dimmer. Control is done at the fixture: there are two on/off toggle switches on the canopy, one for each lamp head, so a guest can run one side or both. Wire it to a standard switched circuit or leave it on a constant hot and let the canopy toggles do the switching.

No on both counts. The Duplex reading light is not Title 24 or Title 20 compliant and is not Energy Star, so it will not count toward a California residential lighting compliance path. It is also not ADA compliant, which matters in a corridor or any circulation space where protruding-object limits apply. On a headboard or bedside wall inside a unit that is normally a non-issue, but do not put it in an accessible route.

The fixture measures 20 inches wide by 5 inches high, with a 5 inch backplate diameter. Both heads mount off that one backplate, so you are covering a single junction box rather than two. For a headboard wall, that 20 inch spread puts the two domes out over each side of the bed from a center box.
