1) Can the WAC Flo 24-inch LED vanity light be mounted on the ceiling as well as the wall?
Both. The Flo WS-224-CS-WT is listed for wall or ceiling mounting in any orientation, so the same part can serve as a vanity bar above a mirror or as a surface flush mount in a hallway, closet or utility space. Mounting method is given as Wall; Any.
2) Will this WAC Flo fixture work on 277V commercial power, or is it 120V only?
The driver is universal input, 120V/240V/277V, so the same 24-inch Flo goes on a residential 120V circuit or a 277V commercial lighting branch without a different part number. The driver is included in the fixture.
3) Is the WAC Flo 24-inch vanity light OK over a bathtub or in a damp bathroom?
It carries a Damp location rating and is ETL and cETL listed for the USA and Canada, which covers a bathroom ceiling or vanity wall and covered exterior spots like a porch soffit. Damp rated is not wet rated, so keep it out of direct spray or uncovered weather.
4) How do I change the color temperature on the WAC Flo 5-CCT vanity light?
There is an onboard selectable switch inside the fixture. Twist off the white acrylic lock diffuser and flip it to 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K or 5000K. It can be set before, during or after install, so a property manager can stock one SKU and match whatever CCT the rest of the building is running.
5) Will the WAC Flo LED vanity light dim without flicker on my existing dimmer?
It dims smoothly from 100 percent down to 5 percent on ELV (electronic low voltage) or TRIAC dimmers, which is what WAC recommends. A standard incandescent-only leading-edge dimmer that is not TRIAC/ELV rated for LED loads is the usual cause of flicker or a dead bottom end.
6) Is this fixture ADA compliant and Title 24 compliant for a commercial restroom?
Yes on both. The 24-inch Flo is listed ADA compliant and Title 24 compliant, is Energy Star certified, and is CEC listed, which is what a California or institutional spec typically calls for in a corridor or restroom.
7) How much wall space do I need for this 24-inch WAC Flo light, and how far does it stick out?
Overall length is 24 inches with a 24-inch backplate, and the body measures 5.5 inches by 2.5 inches. Supply wire leads are 6 inches, so your junction box needs to land within reach of the backplate.
8) Do I need to buy bulbs for the WAC Flo vanity light, and can the LEDs be replaced later?
No bulbs to buy. It is an integrated LED module, included, rated 50,000 hours average life. There is no socket or lamp to relamp, so when the array reaches end of life the fixture is replaced rather than re-bulbed. That is the tradeoff for a maintenance-free run.
9) Is the WAC Flo hardwired or does it plug in?
Hardwired only. It needs a junction box and a connection by an electrician or qualified installer; there is no cord or plug. Leads are 6 inches.
