2) Can the Grisham reading light be installed in a hotel bathroom or a covered porch?
Yes for both, within limits. The Grisham carries a damp location rating with IP44 and ETL/cETL listing, so it is approved for interior use or exterior covered areas such as a porch ceiling overhang or a bathroom away from direct spray. It is not rated for wet locations or anywhere it takes direct water.
3) What kind of dimmer works with the WAC Grisham LED wall light?
Use an electronic low voltage (ELV) or TRIAC dimmer for smooth, continuous dimming. A standard incandescent leading-edge dimmer that is not TRIAC-rated for LED loads is the usual cause of flicker or buzz on this type of fixture. The load is small, 7.8W max at 120V, so check your dimmer's minimum load as well.
4) How far does the Grisham reading light reach over a bed, and how does it aim?
The arm extends up to 14.5 inches off the wall, with 180 degrees of horizontal rotation and 90 degrees of vertical tilt, plus a rotatable cylindrical shade. That is enough reach to get light over a headboard from a backplate mounted beside the bed. Body dimensions are 7.75 inches high, 4.5 inches long and 3.25 inches wide.
