1) How high a ceiling do I need for the WAC Parallax PD-73139 pendant, and how low can it hang?
The Parallax PD-73139 hangs at a minimum of 39 inches overall and can be extended to a maximum of 120 inches. It ships with three 12 inch down rods and one 6 inch rod, plus 120 inches of wire in the canopy. If you need it lower than the included rods allow, additional down rods are ordered separately.
2) Can the Parallax PD-73139 pendant go over a covered porch or in a bathroom?
It is damp location rated with an IP44 rating and carries ETL and cETL listings, so a covered porch, a breezeway, or a bathroom outside the shower spray zone are all fine. It is not rated for wet locations, so keep it out of direct rain or anywhere it takes spray.
3) What dimmer works with the WAC Parallax LED pendant?
Use an ELV (electronic low voltage), TRIAC (forward phase), or 0-10V dimmer. The integrated LED driver handles all three for smooth continuous dimming. A standard magnetic low voltage or incandescent-only dimmer is not on the compatible list.
4) Will the Parallax pendant run on 277V in a commercial building?
Yes. The driver is universal input, 120V through 277V, so the same fixture works on 120V residential, 240V, or a 277V commercial circuit with no separate part number. Draw is 42W.
5) What size junction box or backplate coverage does the Parallax pendant need?
The round canopy is 7.13 inches in diameter, which covers a standard 4 inch round or octagonal ceiling box. It is hardwired and ceiling mounted only, so a box rated to carry the fixture weight has to be in place before install.
6) Do I need to buy bulbs for the WAC Parallax pendant, and can they be replaced later?
No bulbs to buy. The light source is integrated LED along the full length of each arm, rated at 50,000 average hours. There is no socket or lamp to change, so treat it as a sealed maintenance-free fixture over its life.
7) Which finishes does the 39 inch Parallax pendant come in, and what do I order?
Three finishes, all at 3000K: aged brass (PD-73139-AB), black (PD-73139-BK), and brushed nickel (PD-73139-BN). The body is aluminum. Finish is the only choice on this fixture, so pick the suffix and that is the order complete.

Yes, the Parallax PD-73139 is listed as both Title 20 and Title 24 compliant, which is what a California job needs for the lighting schedule. It is not Energy Star rated and it is not ADA compliant, though ADA is a surface-mount concern and does not apply to a ceiling-hung pendant.
